What a week...

What a week...
We had exchanges this week. But since my companion is the district leader, I think they will happen every week of this transfer. For those who don't know, exchanges are when we switch companions for the day so the leader can see how we're doing as missionaries and so we can learn from each other. I love them for the most part. Tuesday was wild. I had my first district council and exchanges with the zone leaders. I was with Elder Bywater who is from Utah (half the Elders I've met are from Utah) and we found heaps of new people, it was awesome. We found this one guy named Jazz and he has a friend named Utah, that was pretty funny. If you don't understand that, I'll tell my mom to stop sending emails to you. I haven't eaten any cool foods like dog or horse, but I did try some Filipino ramen noodles that were super spicy. I didn't think they were going to be that bad, but I took one bite and then half of our two liter of milk was gone. They weren't even good, they were just spicy. Yesterday, we just stayed at the flat most of the day, because Elder Laub was feeling sick. He cracked one of the neighbor's wifi though, so I was just watching book of mormon videos and studying. I'm also trying to learn Norwegian, or at least how to read it, because it's tough. New year's was a party though, Elder Bywater and I had so much fun going to bed early, it was lit. Na, I slept like a rock though.
Spiritual thought of the week: don't judge others if they have different beliefs than you. Instead of looking at what may seem weird to you, look at the similarities. This week we met an Indian man named Ramesh and he wasn't really interested, but he taught us a ton about his religion, which I forgot the name of, but there were a lot more similarities than I thought. He is an awesome guy, and even though he believed something different than us, he was an awesome person, so just keep that in mind and don't judge people too quick.
Yours truly, Elder Plaisted.
(We saw heaps of roaches this week, I'm working on a family photo of them, so stay tuned)
I gave my first priesthood blessing in the field today, I was super nervous, but they aren't something to be nervous about. I just overthink everything.
