The opening party was scheduled for Friday, July 19th in his backyard.

Week 15 | Transfers Next Week

March 16, 2020 This week felt like eating dry stale bread. It happened, and I'm still going to eat it, but I'm not going to like it very much. I'll just share a few highlights. We almost taught someone, but he said he wasn't interested and I'm pretty sure he was on drugs. We had exchanges this week though, which always rocks. I was with Elder Schwab and Elder Weepers. We heard a car accident too. I took a super subtle video (I just put my phone in my shirt pocket and thought I was the coolest person ever). I'll keep it short this week, but I send my love to all of you that still read these bland emails. Next week will either be a happy week or a sad week, depending on what I here about transfers. Week 16 | New Companion

March 22, 2020 I HAVE A NEW COMPANION!!! This week was pretty uneventful, we just did our thing, you know, like, we just, like, were missionaries. I have a new companion and yes, I'm still in Lake Rotoroa(not Rotorua). He's from the factory (Salt Lake city, Utah). His name is Elder Bee, which is good, because most people here can't remember names but Bee is hard to forget. We are getting along just fine. I still don't have COVID-19, in case you were wondering. There are two cases at the Waikato hospital, which is in my area, but as far as we know it is contained and we aren't in any immediate danger of getting the virus. So, you all can relax, because most of what I've been doing this week is eating sleeping and, yep you guessed it, biking. We ditched that lousy car. It wasn't getting us anywhere, except maybe depression. You heard it here first folks, the Lake elders are going carbon neutral. So, nobody can say I wasn't doing my pa...

Week 14 | Update

March 9, 2020 This week was bad. I don't want to be negative so I won't talk about my companion. The rain is cool here. We get a bit of rain every now and then. I'm not able to look forward to much, but the April general conference is something I'm glad to look forward too. There is also transfers on the 17th. That should be exciting. At least it will be if I get a new companion. I got to go on a few exchanges this week. I got to go with Elder Bywater, one of the zone leaders. We found a potential person to teach this week, which was exciting. We also started up a missionary choir that had been going on a while ago. That'll be a mess if I'm in it. But, it will be a fun mess. That's all for this week. I hope everyone had a much better week than me. If anyone wants to email during the week please do.
